Gloria Feldt
Gloria Feldt is a noted author, public speaker and media commentator with over thirty years of experience in women's health, reproductive health care, advocacy for women, and organizational leadership.
She served as the national president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) from 1996-2005 where she managed the national organization's staff of 300 and an annual budget of $60 million which almost doubled during her tenure. She also led the world's largest provider of reproductive healthcare and education serving over five million people annually through 120 affiliates with approximately 900 health centers.
Vanity Fair magazine named her one of America's "top 200 women legends, leaders, and trailblazers". Glamour magazine honored her as Woman of the Year. Texas Monthly, naming her to its Texas Twenty, described her as "part den mother, part businesswoman, part Mae West". Planned Parenthood gave her its highest honor, the Margaret Sanger Award. The City of Phoenix honored her with its Martin Luther King Living the Dream Award for contributions to civil rights and understanding. She received the World Academy of Art and Science Special Award for Exceptional Contributions to Global Civilization. She has recently been selected as one of Women's e-News' 21 Leaders for the 21st Century.
Gloria's newest book, written in collaboration with actress Kathleen Turner, is called Send Yourself Roses...and other Thoughts on Life, Love, and Leading Roles. She's also the author of two previous books. The War on Choice: The Right-Wing Attack on Women's Rights and How to Fight Back and Behind Every Choice Is a Story.
Presently, she is a fellow of the International Leadership Forum and serves on the Women's Media Center board of directors. She is a member of the New York Women's Forum, the Authors Guild, and New York Women in Communications
Mark S. Greenfield
Mark S. Greenfield, is the Managing Partner of Greenfield & Rich LLP, a Los Angeles-based law and consulting firm specializing in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. Prior to forming Greenfield & Rich in 1996, Mr. Greenfield was, a partner in two major Los Angeles law firms from 1980 to 1996. During that same period (from 1986 to 1990) he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SOPAC Energy Corporation, an independent oil and gas company. Mr. Greenfield has also served as the Chairman of the Board of a hospitality company, a safety products company and a fitness company and serves as interim chief executive officer of a software company. Mr. Greenfield received a B.A. degree magna cum laude in 1971 from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. degree in 1974 from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall). He is a member of the State Bar of California. Mr. Greenfield has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1993 to present, where he sits on the Executive Committee and is Chair of the Audit Committee. He has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Councilors of the University of California, Los Angeles Foundation from 1976 to 2009 and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Police Foundation from 2003 to 2005. He was an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization from 1986 through 2000, having served as Education Chairman and Chapter Chairman of the Santa Monica Bay Chapter, Chairman of the International Negotiation Seminar, and as Education Chairman of the Hawai‘i Family University, and he is a member of the World Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Greenfield speaks throughout the world on the topics of negotiation strategies, positioning for quantum growth, and acquisition strategies.
